Our student leaders – Nour Hariri, Zeid Noun, Zeinab Mohammadi, Abed Hayek, Rida Saif and Issa Wacha Hasan attended the 2019 GRIP Leadership conference held at the Western Sydney University – Parramatta campus.
It was a great interactive day where our leaders not only had to reflect on their own personal leadership skill but also how they can use their combined abilities as a team to develop and implement student initiatives to best promote the culture of the college and the causes and issues they choose to support.
The day reinforced what the true characters of a leader are:
– confidence with humility
– focus on others
– reliability
– empathy
When we reflect on the student leaders for 2019, each one of them is a true leader…
