Courses for Parents

As Part of Bellfield's ongoing commitment and support to families, the College provides a number of short courses that aim to assist you in your parenting career. We encourage all parents to attend and participate in all the courses available as their contribution to and benefit from the discussions are invaluable.

The courses will be run by trained professionals in the relevant topic area. We encourage family members of the school and younger families who are considering the school to attend and benefit from the programs offered.
 
The courses will consider some of the following issues:

Islam and the family. The  roles and responsibilities of parents, children and extended family members.
  • Parental Unity. How can this be achieved? Helpful strategies to work as a team.
  • Establishing good habits at an early and receptive age. Overcoming the hurdles of parenthood.
  • Setting attainable and worthwhile goals (short and long term) for your children and family.
  • Character building: strategies in creating and using opportunities to form each child’s character
